Coffee and cigarettes has always been a daily staple for many decades letting folks of all different kinds relax and unwind while either preparing for what the day may bring or an evening with friends pondering the days events at a local coffee shop.

With these alternatives to smoking cigarettes, coffee and electronic cigarettes go hand and hand too.  With no smoking bans, you can smoke indoors in the local bar or pub and even at the coffee shop on the corner.  By now you know ecigarettes offer the same taste and feel of real “analog” cigarettes without the nasty stuff that goes along with them (smoke smell, carcinogens, etc).

Green Smoke vs Blu… The battle has begun!

New to alternative smoking and electronic cigarettes myself I decided put the two hottest brands of ecigarettes in a head to head comparison dueling it out with each others respective flavored nicotine cartridges.

Green Smoke:

This e-cigarette has the “look” of an actual tobacco cig as the LED tip lights up an orange-red when you take a drag off of it.  The tobacco flavor is dead on as you can really taste it and the smoke vapor has a heavy feel similar to tobacco smoke, and the flavor has a good hit and bite to it as you feel it just like a real cigarette.  Even the second hand vapor sticks around a little while before it dissipates away.  The other flavors like vanilla, chocolate, etc are light tasting and a bit too weak for me, but to each his own.  Taking a drag off a Green Smoke is easy when the battery is fresh, but once it starts to wear down it gets tougher to inhale I have found.  Green Smoke ecigs do not shut off so you need to pay attention to how much you are smoking, especially if you choose a high level of nicotine cartridge. Well here is something I should mention, most brand of ecigarettes do not have a shut of mechanism (except Luci brand ecigs) as I have found out myself when I blew though an entire nicotine cartridge while watching my favorite TV show ‘LOST‘.

Alternatives to Smoking Does Have a Price?

Yeah, if you smoke it out to fast!  eSmokes are supposed to be cost effective, the problem is that a full nicotine cartridge equals about a pack and half of cigarettes!  It is easy to not pay attention how much you are smoking (or vaping) because you have not ever gave it thought.  The analog cig burned down and you always end up throwing it on the floor and step on it or flick it out the car window…  Wait, I’m only kidding cause us smokers dispose of our cigarettes properly right? c’mon right??  Good!

So Here is How to Avoid to Much Nicotine

Buy Luci! (ok, shameless plug…) But really the point of this post is you need to pay attention to how much you are smoking on these electronic cigarettes or you will get all buzzy and suck through your entire flavor cartridges way too fast.  If you don’t want to worry about it, then buy an electronic cigarette starter kit from Luci as they automatically shut off after a certain amount of puffs (usually equal to 1 combustible tobacco cigarette).

Ah, the electronic cigarette… what is it?

These battery operated ecigarettes simulate a real smoking experience with the look, feel, and taste of a regular tobacco cigarette but work very differently.

Electronic smoking does not burn anything as it’s all a simulation, but instead  when you inhale and puff on an electrical cigarette you activate a flow sensor inside the atomizer which turns the flavored water inside the nicotine cartridge into vapor thus simulating an uncanny look, taste, and feel of real smoke.
